SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers) is an organization which deals with the transport industry of the world. All the engineers come together to discuss ideas, solve design problems, etc. This society helps us to broaden our perspective, exchange ideas, help each other and meet distinguished and talented personalities which improves our reach into the society.
BAJA SAE is an intercollegiate engineering design competition, which is conducted by the organization of SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) where teams of undergraduate engineering students from all over the country compete to design, fabricate, and run off-road vehicles that can withstand the harsh conditions and be driven in extremely rough terrains.
Team Zenith The Cummins College of Engineering for Women’s Team Zenith was formed in 2013 and has been participating in this event ever since. It consists of team members from Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics and telecommunication and Computer Science branches. Team Zenith is not just a team, it is a big family that grows every year. Together with challenges and success, quashing the gender stereotypes, Team Zenith stands as an epitome of strength and the extent of what women can achieve. Yet again, Team Zenith has made us proud, and we eagerly await their future endeavours!
